He gained his MFGDP in 1996,the Diploma in Implant dentistry on 2005 and his MSc in Implantology in 2006.
Dr Patel is a principal of two multi surgery practices in Watford and
Bedford and accepts implant referrals. He has been placing implants since
1990, and also has a special interest in sinus and ridge augmentation
including augmentation materials. He has also travelled extensively in both
USA and Europe for his implantology education.He lectures for an implant
company in Harley Street, the Association of Dental Implantology and teaches
the dentists in their Vocational year from the University of Cambridge
deanery.
Dr Patel has been awarded the Examinership for the Royal College of Surgeons of England. This is one of the most prestigious accolades bestowed on a surgeon. More recently, he has been made an Associate Fellow for Warwick Medical School in Implant Dentistry.
Dr Patel currently studying for his Fellowship at the Royal College Dental
Surgeons. He also attended advanced
courses in Reconstructive Dentistry, Crown and Bridgework, Endodontic
Treatment and Sedation. Outside the practice Dr Patel plays competitive
league cricket in the country leagues. He also enjoys snowboarding, salsa
dancing and traveling. |
